What is Dino World?
Dino World turns the endless Chrome dinosaur run into something you can actually finish. Instead of running until you crash, you work through ten numbered stages on a world map, each with its own target. Clear a stage and the next one unlocks; the map remembers how far you've come.
It uses the same T-Rex, the same cacti and the same pterodactyls as the classic game — the difference is that every run now has a finish line.
How the level map works
Each stage sets two objectives you have to hit in a single run: a distance to reach and a number of coins to collect along the way. Miss either one and the stage stays locked, so late levels are as much about picking up coins safely as about surviving.
The full progression:
- Level 1 — 1,000 m and 50 coins. The tutorial: run, jump, learn the coin lines.
- Level 2 — 2,000 m and 100 coins, at a noticeably higher speed.
- Level 3 — 3,000 m and 150 coins. Pterodactyls start showing up.
- Levels 4–5 — 4,000–5,000 m and 200–250 coins, with denser obstacles.
- Levels 6–9 — 7,500 m upward, where cacti arrive in clusters.
- Level 10 — 15,000 m and 1,000 coins. The longest run in the game by a wide margin.
Progress is saved in your browser, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off. The Reset Progress button at the bottom of the map wipes it and re-locks every stage if you want to start the run over.
Tips for clearing stages
- Coins are the real constraint, not distance. Most failed attempts reach the distance and come up short on coins. Take the coin line when it's safe rather than playing purely defensively.
- Don't chase a coin into a cactus. A missed coin costs you one run; a crash costs you the whole stage. From level 6 on, skipping a badly-placed coin is usually correct.
- Duck the high birds instead of jumping. Ducking keeps you moving and keeps you on the ground where coins usually sit.
- Level 10 is a stamina test. 15,000 m at full speed rewards steady rhythm over reactive play — settle in and watch the right edge of the screen.
